Light and Airy This gown flows like a dream. Yards and yards of draped silk chiffon create a cloud like effect. Top layer of skirt is full with an open front. The under skirt is  semi fitted and it is lined with crepe. Empire bodice is encrusted with rows of beads, sequins, and rosettes.  The neckline scoops in front and it dips into a "U" in back.  Dress closes with two long back zippers. The more I examine this dress the more I am in awe.  Taking a close look at the inside of this garment, I notice that a lot of the construction was done by hand....simply amazing! ERA: 1960's DESIGNER: Sophie of Saks Fifth Avenue SIZE: Large,  about a 12", bust up to 40",  waist 34", length from shoulder to hem 54". COLOR: Sapphire Blue FABRIC:  Silk chiffon  CONDITION: There's some sun damage on front of skirt.  Please see last photo  to compare the difference between front and back of skirt.  Fortunately flaw is forgivable because of the fullness of the fabric.  There's also one tiny hole on back of skirt near waist (please see last photos). Dress is still very wearable.  Cleaned and ready to wear.
