Aloha! Border Hawaiian prints are striking! Take this classic 40's Hawaiian dress for example.....it has a stunning orchid pattern running up and down the sides and center. Slip on dress is detailed with contrasting mandarin collar, sleeve cuffs, and  11" slits at sides.  Wear loose or belted.  ERA: 1940's LABEL: Surf - Made in Hawaii - Styled and made by Pacific SIZE: Vintage tag says medium = bust and waist up to 38". hips up to 42", length 52". COLOR: Mostly red, white, and black CONDITION: There is a faint water mark near hem. (please see last photo). Very hard to make out with busy pattern. It does not distract from overall appearance. Sash not included.  It was only added for styling purposes.
