#WS01 Vintage Embroidered and Lace Peasant Skirt
Ethnic Beauty Gorgeous ethnic (Hungarian ?) skirt is a work of art. The hand embroidery is breathtaking.  Even the pintucking around the waist looks hand done.  Beautifully trimmed with antique lace.  Wrap style has hooks and eyes for closure. CIRCA: Guesstimate 1940's (ethnic pieces are sometimes hard to date). LABEL:  No tags SIZE:  Waist  28", length 30".  Because of the simple wrap hook and eye closure,  this skirt can easily be taken in or out a size or two. FABRIC:  Feels like all cotton COLOR: Black CONDITION: There are a couple of rust spots on lace (please see last photo).  The  discolorations do not detract from the overall appearance. Cleaned and ready to wear.
