Graphic Appeal "In 1968, Springmaid won first award in the 23rd Annual International Design Awards Program for domestic linens.  The towel which placed first was one designed by Emilio Pucci called "Della".  According to American Fabrics, it was considered unique because of its large-scale abstract pattern and its totally new way of being printed in intense fast color dyes.
