Fifties Something Gorgeous ensemble is very Dior new look inspired...fitted bodice, wasp waist, and full skirt. The previous owner of this suit was a professional seamstress and this was one of her brilliant creations. So many details are of couture quality. Brief unlined jacket is made with a rounded collar, dolman bracelet length sleeves, and self buttons for closure. Full skirt is a showstopper...it is decorated with cord embroidery. Skirt is fully lined and it is made with a petticoat in mind (not included). Closes at side with metal zipper. Sleeve cuffs and hem of skirt are lined with shocking pink...a sassy detail. ERA: 1950's LABEL: No tags SIZE: Medium, about a 8/9 . Jacket = chest 38", waist 32", length 21.5". Skirt = waist 29", hips open, length 31.5" FABRIC: Linen COLOR: Slate gray CONDITION: Excellent! No holes, stains, or discolorations. Clean and ready to wear. Please note that black belt is not included (comes with original pink belt) and skirt was photographed with a petticoat that is not included as well.
