Flapper Empire Thanks to the TV show Boardwalk Empire, the roaring 20's are gaining popularity these days. Personally, I love it...flapper dresses are to die for. This gorgeous frock is such a great example. The lines are straight and long and it is accentuated at lower waist with braided ribbon. Luxurious metal lace is finely beaded in a floral pattern at hem. It even comes with it's original silk slip. Snaps at side hips and shoulder. ERA: 1920's DESIGNER: No tags SIZE: About a 4 to 6. The dress was not pinned on my size 4 mannequin and it hung pretty nice on her. There was a little bit of room...enough to accommodate a size 6. Bust up to 38", low waist 34", length from shoulder to hem 45". COLOR: Light moss and vintage rose. FABRIC: Metallic lace dress, silk slip. CONDITION: Great vintage condition and very wearable. I went over the dress with a fine tooth comb to make sure that there were no holes on lace and that every bead was intact. There are some soiled spots on waist ribbon that are not very noticeable. The slip does have some spots but that does spoil the outward appearance.
