Everything about this dress screams 1940s.  From the padded shoulders to the colorful polka dot print.  The bodice is detailed with decorative chest pockets, cuffed sleeves, and floral shaped buttons. The front of skirt has top stitch kilt style pleating that stops at the hips. Notice how the colors reverse around the hip area...brilliant design.  Side metal zipper.

ERA:  1940s.

LABEL:  No tags. 

SIZE:  Medium, about an 8 to 10.  Shoulders 16", chest up to 40", waist 30", hips up to 40, bodice length 16",  skirt length 27".

FABRIC:  Rayon.

CONDITION:  Excellent!  No holes, stains or discolorations.  Cleaned and ready to wear.
