Italians are truly some of the best when it comes to knits. This suit is an excellent example. Avagolf was one of the leaders in the 60s to make knitwear trendy and fashionable. All the seams match on this suit making a continuous pattern through out the whole garment........Amazing! The jacket has patch pockets, a wide waistband and button down front closure. Flared skirt has a 2.5" wide waistband and a back zip closure. ERA: Late 60's to early 70's DESIGNER: Avagolf - Made in Italy SIZE: About a 6 to 8. Measurements = Jacket: shoulders 15.5", chest 34", waist 32", sleeve length 23", bodice length 18.5". Skirt: waist 28", length 28.5" FABRIC: Double knit wool COLOR: Aqua, orange, and off white.Trimmed with navy. CONDITION: Very good. There are a couple of pin size worn spots (probably from a moth) on the jacket. The knit is so thick and dense that it's not a complete hole. Only the top layer shows some wear. Overall these little flaws do not take away from the suit. Busy fabric is very forgiving to flaws.
